Tactica - Turn Based Strategy App Reviews

i do have this game since weeks, but i cant stop playing it. its really nice and sometimes difficult, but keeps me up trying to challange the cpu. never tried the online version thought. please do an update, maybe retina, maybe new levels, maybe new characters, maybe new colors, but do something with this game.. its worth it. defenetly worth the money..

Its a lot like Slay, but with (seemingly) more features. Great job. Hope to see a new race or something... ;)

This game is totally awesome! Its exactly what Ive been looking for: turn-based tactics with simple rules and challenging gameplay. The game runs fast and smooth on my iPhone 3G.

I love this game, & play it more than almost any other game. I would pay for a 2.0, or to get "bridge" units, to cross the blank spaces & have the option of disabling the ability to win with several tiles alone! Great Job, Well Done! I love your Work!

Ive enjoyed the full purchased version of this for years, but recently made the mistake of upgrading. The new dynamic camera that follows the AI moves around the board is a little nausea-inducing. Please include a feature to bring back the simplicity of the static game board. Not sure that the new growing plants are necessary either.

This game is pretty interesting to get into. Gameplay is pretty tactical. Nice concept, very well done, definitely worth the 99 cents! If youre like me and you like strategy games youll spend hours on it.

This game has a strong core concept. Very easy to play, but not to master. Completely worth the price.

This game is fantastic! Difficult enough to be fun and not too hard so as to make it boring! Well worth the cost! My only suggestion is for each race give a special advantage.

With some fine tuning and more multiplayer options like WiFi & Bluetooth this game could easily be five stars. (Id be happy to add that extra star for just the WiFi option.)

Needs to have levels of difficulty......level six, where you are surrounded from every side in the middle, is impossible, i cant get past it

This game was a great idea, but at level 2 it gets impossible, if you want to waste your money and spend hours failing and retrying every single level then be my guest.

Good game for the price. Can get frustrating as it can be very difficult. You have to pretty much find your own way to victory as the game gives you little guidance as to the best path for winning. Some levels Ive played 30-40 times until finally finding a way to win. Thankfully the rounds are short. And your opponents resources seem to vastly outstrip yours to the point of frustration. Decent graphics. If you like a tough game that will make you think and have patience, you should like this one. This review is only based upon the single player game as I have not tried multiplayer yet.

But it needs instruction on how to play lost many units when none attacked them, still havent beaten the game. But it is very good

Its a fun little game, and the leaderboards make the somewhat frustrating levels worth spending time beating. I was able to get through the campaign on Hard mode within a couple hours of playing, but each level was still its own challenge. I am, however, annoyed with the exception error that keeps occurring. There seems to be a glitch with the A.I. that crashes the program if certain conditions are met. I havent figured out what the conditions are, but its terribly irritating. And yes, more people online would help. But thats only a matter of time...

This game deserves 6 stars! Its got brilliant game mechanics with a well implemented engine. Strong computer opponent behavior. Awesome configuration options. Great UI and game board controls. However there are several bugs that you WILL encounter if you play long enough. 1. The configuration for a new random game menu will break if you disable intermediate players (2 player game with just red and blue, for example) 2. There is an invalid touch exception that freezes the game every so often 3. Once a bug in the rendering made it look like the 3d engine ate rainbow colored ice cream and then vomitted all over the board 4. Stalemate conditions are not recognized. I bought this game twice anyway! Its that good. Kind of like Chess 2.0... Especially when you play locally with your friends.

However the campaign mode is to hard, Im stuck on level 6, the sounds wont turn off, it needs an options button. It has a great concept and everything though, I wish you could upgrade a specific unit. This will be changed to 5 stars if all of my problems are resolved

i cant even play because a blank screen pops up and i wont go away
